Nothing. There is no newsletter, no analytics, no advertising and no cookies. Nothing is stored in your browser.

There is a short form at the bottom of the home page, and it is worth saying exactly what it does, because it is not the usual kind. It does not send anything to us or to anybody else. When you press the button, your own browser takes what you typed, turns it into a WhatsApp message and opens WhatsApp with the words already in it. Nothing leaves your phone until you press send in WhatsApp yourself, and if you close it instead, nothing has happened at all. We never receive what you typed and there is nowhere for it to be stored.

The two typefaces are served from this website rather than from Google, and there are no embedded maps, videos or social buttons. Opening a page here does not tell any other company that you were on it.

The one automatic thing is the same on every website: the server that hands you the page keeps a short record of the request, including the address it came from. That is how web hosting works. It is kept for security and for fixing faults, and it is not used to build a picture of you.

Then you have given us your number or your email address, and usually your suburb and a description of what is wrong with your roof. That is kept for the obvious reason: to phone you back, quote the work, and do it.

It is not sold, rented or passed to anyone who is not working on your roof. There is no mailing list to be added to.

A WhatsApp message also sits in WhatsApp, on Meta's systems, under Meta's own terms. That part is outside our control and worth knowing before you send photographs.

Quotes and job records are kept while they are needed for the work, and after that for as long as a business is required to keep its records.

If you would rather yours was deleted, ask, and it will be, unless it is part of a record that has to be kept by law.

The Protection of Personal Information Act gives you the right to ask what personal information is held about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to have it deleted where there is no longer a reason to keep it, and to object to it being used.

Phone or email and ask. You do not need a reason and there is no charge.
